Objective
War is a simple card game where a player is supposed to win all cards or at least 3 wars against the opponent to win the game.
Setup
PLAYER - At the begining the two players are dealt 26 cards each face-down (half of one complete deck).
WASTE - Two empty waste piles, one for each player.
WAR - Two empty war piles, one for each player.
Gameplay
- In this game the number cards are lowest and ranked as per its sequence. Face cards have higher value with sequence being Jack, Queen, King and finally Ace. Suits are not compared in the game.
- Both players throw one card face-up to their respective waste piles at the same time.
- The player with the higher card rank wins both cards and adds to its pile after which the pile is shuffled once.
- If both players throw cards with same rank, war starts. For this players are supposed to throw 3 cards face-down and one card face-up to their war decks. The player with the higher top card in the war deck wins. If top cards in the war deck are of same rank, war continues and new set of four cards are thrown by both players.
- The first player to finish all his cards loses the game.
- If a player does not have enough cards to finish a war, he immediately loses the game.
