Objective

In Dirty Seven card game players are required to get rid of all their cards to the waste pile before their opponents do. The game is played with a standard 52 card deck.

Setup

PLAYER - At the begining the two players are dealt 7 cards each. The players can see their own cards.

WASTE - One card is dealt face-up onto the waste pile.

STOCK - Remaining cards are set aside forming a stock pile.

Gameplay

• In each turn player is supposed to discard one or more cards. If player has no matching card to throw, he/she must pick a card from the stock pile.
• Player can discard a card only if it matches either the rank or the suit of the top card in the waste pile.
• Following additional rules are followed while discarding a card to the waste pile:
  • Three - If player discards a Three, he/she has the option to discard another card on top of it by following same suit or same rank rule. If player has no matching card to play, he/she can simply pass the turn to next player.
  • Ace - If an Ace is discarded, the next player loses its turn. In two player game, it means player who just discarded an Ace must again discard another card. This rule is different than the Three rule, since with Three rule player has option to not discard another card but in case of an Ace, player must discard another card or pick a card from the stock pile if he/she has no matching card to play.
  • Seven - The game is primarily named after this rule. If a player discards a seven, next player must also discard a seven. If he/she does not have a Seven to discard then he/she must pick four cards from the stock pile. Both players can discard Seven till one does not have a Seven to discard and has to pick 4 cards from the stock pile.
  • Jack - Jack works like a Joker and can be discarded any time except when a Seven was discarded in the previous turn. After discarding a Jack player must select next suit to play in the waste pile.
• After a player has picked four cards following Seven rule, next player is not required to discard another Seven and can just discard a card with matching suit.
• Once all cards in the stock pile are finished, all cards in the waste pile except the top card are moved to the stock pile without shuffling.

The game ends as soon as any player has discarded all of his/her cards.

Controls

• To draw a card from the stock pile, click the top card once.
• To discard your card to the waste pile, either drag and drop the card on top of the pile or, simply double-click the card.
