Cruel Solitaire

Objective

Cruel Solitaire is played with standard 52-cards deck where all cards are dealt face-up from the start. The aim is to build all cards into the foundation by suit using unlimited number of moves.

Setup

FOUNDATION - Four aces are dealt into four foundation piles.

TABLEAU - Remaining 48 cards are dealt face-up onto 12 tableau piles, each pile getting 4 cards.

Gameplay

  • Only the top card of a tableau pile can be played to another tableau pile or foundation.
  • Cards in a tableau pile are build-down by suit.
  • Foundations can be started with Ace and are build-up by suit.
  • Empty tableau pile can not be filled with any card.
  • At any time after making desired moves, cards in the tableau can be collected in same sequence without shuffling and re-dealt to tableau piles in a set of 4. This can be done as many times as you want.

The game is won once all cards are moved onto the foundation piles.

Controls

  • Drag and drop cards between two piles.
  • Double click a card to automatically move to the foundation.
  • Click on "Rearrange" button to redeal cards to tableau piles.
