Objective
The aim of Addiction Solitaire is to arrange cards from Deuce to King in 4 rows. The game is played using one standard 52-card deck.
Setup
TABLEAU - At the begining all 52 cards are dealt into 4 rows of 13 cards resembling a grid layout each cell containing one card. After that 4 Aces are removed from the play to create gaps in the grid.
Gameplay
- Gaps can be filled with a card with same suit of the card on the left and one rank higher than the left card.
- Left most gap can only be filled with a Deuce.
- No card can be placed to the right of a King.
- When all possbiled moves are played, there is an option to shuffle the cards which are not in a same-suit sequence starting with left most cell and a Deuce. All such cards are moved to dealer. All Aces are also added to the dealer and then cards are shuffled. These cards are again dealt in the empty cells and then Aces are again removed to create gaps.
- A maximum of 3 shuffles are allowed in a game.
- Undo option can only be used before the cards are shuffled. Shuffling and all moves before that cannot be undone.
The game is won once all cards are arranged in rank-wise sequence of same suit cards (from Deuce to King).
