Hippodrome

Hippodrome invented by Andy Lewicki is a single-player puzzle game played on a 4x4 board with chess pieces. Chess pieces follow their standard Chess rules of piece movement in the game. The main actors in the game are 4 Knights which are placed at the bottom row.

12 other pieces ( 4 Bishops, 4 Rooks, 2 Kings and 2 Queens) are randomly placed in the remaining 12 slots and one piece is randomly removed to create one empty slot.

A piece can only be moved to the empty slot acoordingly to the chess rules and there are no captures. The goal is to move all four Knights to the designated slots (as per the selected board) in the least possible moves.
